E2 Defender with  Impact Effectiveness 

SureFire added a new model in 2004 to its best-selling Executive Series, the E2d Defender®. The Defender features a crenellated bezel and scalloped tailcap designed to enhance its effectiveness as defensive tool.

The new bezel features five crenellations to maximize the impact force of a defensive blow. The tailcap sports four scallops that protect the dual-position switch while also serving as an impact enhancement.

At less than 4 ozs. and less than an inch longer than a standard E2e Executive Elite, the new E2d Defender is ideal for all situationally aware people. Carried in a pocket or purse, the Defender can instantly unleash a dazzling beam of light to temporarily blind an assailant.

If the attack persists, the Defender can be used to inflict a defensive blow. Those who are trained in the use of Kubaton as a defensive tool will find the new SureFire Defender to be ideal for pain-compliance and other control techniques.

The new E2d Defender comes with a 60 lumen Xenon lamp with a runtime of 75 minutes. The Defender is waterproof and comes with a tough MilSpec hard anodized finish in a matte black color.

The Defender features a stainless steel pocket clip and a unique two-position tailcap switch. Deliberately and firmly press the click-on tail cap switch for constant-on illumination or slightly press for momentary-on illumination.
