BlackHawk's newest accessory for the HydraStorm line, the G.M.A.K.™ (Gas Mask Adaptor Kit)
enables operators to safely drink water wearing a protective mask. Constructed from glass-reinforced polymer and rubber used by the U.S. and Canadian military, the G.M.A.K.™ fills a vital need for operators in a chemical environment over extended periods.
The G.M.A.K.™ is designed to fit any U.S. or Canadian protective mask equipped with a drink tube and it can be used with almost any hydration reservoir system on the market.  Civil Disturbance Units, Corrections Officers, Entry Teams and virtually all military personnel find the G.M.A.K.™ is a welcome addition to their essential gear.

The G.M.A.K.™ provides triple protection of the water supply by providing positive, spring-loaded lock-off valves at all interfaces.  The valve assemblies are tested to meet/exceed over two (2) atmospheres (greater than 30psi) pressure resistance making it a useful tool for SEAL combat swimmers or SDV ops.  BlackHawk has tested the G.M.A.K.™ during police crowd management training for resistance to typical riot control agents, including OC, CS and CN.

WARNING:  No lethal agent testing has been done and the system is not warranted
 against any lethal agent.  The system has been tested with HydraStorm™ systems and even though it may fir other manufacturer's tubes and bladders, the others may not provide protection against OC-CS penetration through the tube or bladder.  Regular cleaning is required to avoid bacteria or mold growing in the system.
