The SL1 Light
In emergency situations, there are a few absolute items needed, such as a good sharp knife, a flashlight and a signaling device. The SL1 offers all these in a compact, functional shape.
This folding knife has a sharp 3" blade with 50/50
serrations giving it both cutting and sawing action, as needed. The blade
can be easily opened or closed with just one hand. The whistle is
conveniently built into the handle for easy access in an emergency situation.
The SL1 contains a compact, waterproof light module featuring a bright while LED
powered by button cell batteries. The light is activated by twisting the
barrel counter-clockwise; it can be used with the the blade open or closed.
There is a watertight cavity behind the light that can hold spare batteries or
other small items that must remain dry.
Practical and lightweight, just 2.6 ounces, the SL1 can easily be carried in a briefcase, purse or backpack or attached to clothing by its pocket/belt clip. It's the perfect companion for hikers, campers and even late night shoppers.
