CLASSIC K.I.S.S
Our first production K.I.S.S®, with its Tanto-inspired blade and bead blast
finish, was intended to be a revolutionary and high tech statement. Now,
for the traditionalists among you, Knifemaker's Guild Member and K.I.S.S
designer "Big Daddy" Ed Halligan has re-interpreted the Keep It Super
Simple theme in a dandy little folding knife we call the Classic K.I.S.S.
It's still one honey of a knife, precision fine blanked for superior fit and
smooth operation.
Like all folding knives in the
K.I.S.S family, the unique two-piece construction with its integral Frame
Lock™ and sealing of the cutting edge against the handle, has been granted
both utility and design patents. A thumb stud is used to one-hand open the
blade, and as the blade is fully rotated open, the Frame Lock snaps crisply in
behind the blade to guarantee a sound lock-up. The blade can be closed
with one hand, simply by releasing the Frame Lock.
We call Classic K.I.S.S blade
design a "modified clip point" which is exceptionally versatile and
suited to a wide variety of cutting tasks. It's a user friendly
single-side hollow ground design which seals securely against the frame, with
graceful, well-defined contours.
Both blade and frame are
AUS 6M stainless steel and are high satin polished, as is the pocket clip and other
hardware. A red color-filled CRKT logo completes the package.
The Classic K.I.S.S gives
you the best of both worlds: high technology, two piece design; advanced
materials; plus a traditional blade shape and finish. Use it as a money
clip, or with a split-ring or lanyard, as a key chain knife. The Classic
K.I.S.S looks at home anywhere.
