Designed for mountain rescue professionals, the Matrix is constructed using the same materials and technology as our durable, combat proven, military packs.  With the extremist outdoorsman in mind, the Matrix™ is tapered to fit the body and stay steady during extreme activities.  It has numerous storage/attachment points for such items as carabiners, ice axe, bike pump, etc. plus the outer compression panel lets you stow your jacket for quick retrieval.  The bottom of the pack has HawkTex™ non-slip abrasive resistance material, which provides excellent durability.
