Hearing Protectors
The Tactical 6-S, compact hearing protectors are
specifically designed for those who desire to hear and properly mount their rifle, carbine
or shotgun for correct sight acquisition. Each ear piece has its own built-in microphone,
speaker, and amplifier which allows you to listen and localize sound sources that
normally cannot be heard.
Weak sounds are amplified while loud noises
shut off the microphone. Electronic circuits will react in about
5 milliseconds.
The Tactical 6-S is useful
for firearm training. Never again
will you suffer the embarrassment of guessing your Range Master's instructions.
Also a great accessory for hunters who want increased
sound amplification, along with hearing protection and proper weapon mount.
Features:
Folding Collapsible Headband
This simplifies protected storage in a pocket or shooting bag.
Spring-steel suspension of cushioned cups keep pressure around the ears. The headband is
superior in retaining adequate pressure within a wide temperature range when compared to
ordinary plastic headbands.
Specially Designed Shell
Tailored for shooting long guns. The shells simply snap off and
can be reversed allowing ultra low profile for proper mount of your long gun.
Low Two Point Suspension
Simple height adjustments.
Soft and Wide Foam-Filled Cushions
Pressure equalization channels provide low contact pressure,
outstanding sealing against the head and superior comfort.
On/Off Switch and Volume Control
Each cup allows for independent adjustments of reception level.
Soundlevel Limited
Maximum 82 dBA equivalent soundlevel
will cause the analogue clipping to activate and shut off the microphone.
Batteries
Uses two Alkaline 1.5 volt type AAA batteries in each cup and
will provide a maximum of approximately 200 hours of operation.
Instructions
Warranty
3 months to one year, depending who
you speak to at Aearo Company (importer). Warranty policy is not printed
on instructions or packaging. Defective unit must be returned to
Aearo Company for repair (turn around time 2 to 3 weeks).
