Riot/Fragmentation Face Shields

The face shields distributed by RBR Tactical Armor, Inc
are universal fit face shields that adapt to the RBR Combat,
Combat Mark II and PASGT helmets. 

The face shield is designed to protect the face in riot/hazardous
conditions. The shields are designed to accommodate most gas
masks used by both law enforcement and military personal.

An integral rubber seal provides a liquid barrier at the helmet/shield
interface. The shield locks into two different positions, stowed and
deployed, and can be released with one hand.

The pivot and locking assembly for the shield mount is designed
so that it can be transferred to the right or left side of the shield for
individual preference.

Standard Features:

• NIJ 0104.02 and MIL-V-43511C specification on all face shields.

• Designed to protect against impact, splash and fragment hazards.
   

Options
 

• Anti-fog and hard coated face shields Available in the standard 

• .150-inch riot thickness or a .250-inch fragmentation thickness.

• Available in a hard mount or with a universal mounting strap.

Protection

• The .250-inch fragmentation face shield has been V-50 rated for “Frag” impact.

• The V-50 test equals 800 meters per second.

The ballistic visor provides protection against multiple hits of NIJ Level II rated 9 mm rounds. It weighs 2.2 lbs and can be mounted to any RBR helmet. In the summer of 2001, we will be coming out with a lighter more improved ballistic faceshield.
