This rail system was designed to easily slip on the top of the A3 flat top receivers and to fit with the A2 or the MAD flip up rear sights. The Scout length rail extends two inches over the hand guards and clears the new M4 fore grips. The GG&G rail mount is manufactured to meet Mil Spec 1913. The mount locks onto the A3 flat top
utilizing a locking side bar with two allen head screws. This provides positive and
straight lock up even on worn receiver rails. The standard allen wrench used for
installation is included with the mount. This mount is also available in a configuration
that interfaces with the Surefire Millennium.

F.I.R.E. G.S.-1 Rail

A longer rail length on the AR-15/M16 flat top has been a recurrent request. This is
the rail for those shooters who desire the longer rail length for proper eye relief or the mounting of additional optics, such as night vision, but do not require a back-up rear iron sight.
